-- Maybe one idea to consider is discerning between (1) those things of genuine and
meaningful value and (2) those things that have very little or no significant meaning in our
lives; noticing and accepting the potential for some level of suffering with the former and
letting go of our desire for the latter.
-- Like many things in life, achieving a balance can often be key to more calm and less
anxiety, to greater understanding and less judgment, to greater happiness and less
suffering. At least I hope so, as I’m trying to head in this direction.
CANCER
Don Peck
Presently I’m learning about cancer in a year-long program at the Metabolic Terrain
Institute of Health (MTIH) https://mtih.org/. I’ve just started my 4th month of training in
their Terrain Advocate Program (TAP) https://terrain.network/tap/.
A friend who is living with cancer gave me a book by Nasha Winters called The Metabolic
Approach to Cancer https://www.drnasha.com/matcbook/. Nasha was diagnosed with
stage 4 metastatic ovarian cancer at 19 and was sent home with a referral for palliative
care. Some 30 years later she has started MTIH to train Doctors in the Metabolic Approach
to cancer https://terrain.network/matc/. She is also a best-selling author and travels the
world spreading the message that cancer is a metabolic disease and there is a great deal
we can do to prevent and treat it.
I’m doing everything I can to be of service to someone I love who is confronting a serious
cancer diagnosis. If you or someone you know is on a cancer journey check out Nasha’s
book and also Kelly Turner’s book; “Radical Remission: Surviving Cancer Against All
Odds.” https://www.amazon.com/Radical-Remission-Surviving-Cancer-
Against/dp/1094132624
These two books give so much hope with true evidence-based science.
It’s humbling and awe-inspiring to learn about the trillions of cells that make up our
bodies. How each of these cells is singing a song that if we listen close enough, and really
relax, we can find grace.
Feeling grateful and blessed!
